On Air in the Maritimes since 1928 is an interesting and educational history of Acadia Broadcasting through 2008. Since it's publication we have added three new stations to the family, CJHK, known as Hank-FM, a country station in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia as well as two stations in Thunder Bay, Ontario, CKTG-FM, a classic hits station known locally as The Giant and a very current hit music station, CJUK-FM branded as Magic 99.9. Our stations have played an important role in the lives of maritimers since the arly 20th century and in the last several years we chave grown that tradition to include multiple communities in Northwestern Ontario.
